STIG Description
The Windows Vista Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) is published as a tool to improve the security of Department of Defense (DoD) information systems. The requirements were developed from DoD consensus, as well as the Windows Vista Security Guide and security templates published by Microsoft Corporation.
