Use the following command to check if VRFY is disabled:

# grep -v "^#" /etc/sendmail.cf |grep -i PrivacyOptions

If "novrfy" is not returned, this is a finding.

Add "novrfy" to the "PrivacyOptions" flag in /etc/sendmail.cf
