Description
By limiting the number of failed login attempts, the risk of unauthorized system access via user password guessing, otherwise known as brute forcing, is reduced. Limits are imposed by locking the account. Permanent finding - Root is the only user local to the host. All other accounts required to be AD accounts and should already meet this requirement (addressed in the VMware HG). NOTE: Locking the root account is not advisable.
