To check if the macOS firewall has been enabled, run the following command:

/usr/bin/sudo /usr/libexec/ApplicationFirewall/socketfilterfw --getglobalstate

If the result is "disabled", this is a finding.

To enable the firewall, run the following command:

/usr/bin/sudo /usr/libexec/ApplicationFirewall/socketfilterfw --setglobalstate on
