Humidity controls are installed that provide an alarm of fluctuations potentially harmful to personnel or equipment operation; adjustments to humidifier/de-humidifier systems may be made manually.

Guidance
1. Refer to PEHC-2. 2. Install a humidity control mechanism that contains an alarm feature that activates when humidity levels reach those that are harmful to proper operation of equipment or personnel. 3. Ensure that humidifier/de-humidifier systems are capable of manual operation to enable immediate adjustment of humidity levels required for personnel safety and equipment maintenance.
