Threat
Personnel, equipment, media, and documentation are at risk to fire if a fully automatic fire suppression system is not installed that automatically activates when it detects heat, smoke, or particles.

Guidance
1. A fully automatic fire suppression system shall be installed that automatically activates when it detects heat, smoke, or particles. 2. A fully automatic fire suppression system shall be tested on a regular basis in accordance with equipment and manufacturer guidelines. 3. Documentation of all testing procedures shall be stored at the facility. 4. Documentation of all tests performed shall be logged and verified through internal audit verification in accordance with standard operating procedures.
