Threat
Mission-critical systems require continuous access to power in order to function.  The installation of a functioning Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) or similar device ensures the uninterrupted processing power for the system.

Guidance
1. Electrical systems shall be configured to allow continuous or uninterrupted power to key IT assets. 2. This shall include an uninterrupted power supply coupled with emergency generators.
